With Donald Trump's return to the White House, US-Hungarian relations have entered a dramatically improved phase, as described by Prime Minister Orbán, “a new golden age." After years of tension under the previous administration, bilateral ties are now characterized by mutual respect, shared emphasis on national sovereignty, traditional values, energy security, defense cooperation, and pragmatic realism in foreign policy.
