1:00 pm Panel III. Reclaiming Our Demos: Borders or Oblivion for Europe’s Cultural Future

What ultimately constitutes a civilization is its people. The question, then, is what happens when one civilization’s population is gradually replaced by another. Mass migration is one of the most serious challenges facing the West in centuries. Across much of Europe, concerns are growing about the displacement of native populations by large scale immigration from culturally alien societies. While some countries appear to welcome or even encourage this trend, most Europeans believe it threatens social cohesion and cultural continuity. This panel argues that effective border control is indispensable to preserving national identity and protecting Western civilization. It examines how firm and coherent migration policies can safeguard sovereignty, maintain social stability, and prevent irreversible demographic transformation.
