10:00 am Keynote Speech IV: EU Foreign Policy Explained with Schrödinger's Cat

For four long years the largest war in European history since world war II has continued to ravage the continent. From hundreds of thousands Russians and Ukrainians dead, to destroyed countrysides, and a decimated European economy, the war continues despite its myriad of consequences. Despite its continued destruction, peace still seems far away, with both sides refusing important concessions and organizations like the EU openly encouraging continuation through its unrealistic expectations of Russian concessions. How therefore, can we find peace in this quagmire? In his keynote Speech, Jan Figel will make the case for a realist approach to ending the war with the ultimate goal as ceasefire.
