Andrej Protic

Serbian Police Major

Andrej Protić completed military service in the Guard Brigade of the Serbian Army in 2001–2002 and worked in private security companies before joining the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia in 2011. He has since served as an analyst, security officer, and criminal inspector in the High-Tech Crime Suppression Unit and currently holds the rank of major in the Serbian police.

Protić studied history and Orthodox Christian theology and holds a master’s degree in security management. His professional experience spans both public service and security operations, with a focus on analyzing and preventing high-tech and organized crime.

His areas of expertise include security, terrorism, radicalism, extremism, and criminal activities associated with destructive and totalitarian cults, alternative religions, and informal groups.
