Anthony Gilland

Antony Gilland joined MCC Brussels with more than thirty years career experience spanning commercial, educational and think tank sectors in the United Kingdom. His work in Brussels is informed by his extensive experience of promoting debate and free speech. Mr. Gilland played a leading role in successfully defending the NatCon Brussels 2024 conference from the attempts by three Brussels mayors to shut it down. He was the convenor of the inaugural Battle for the Soul of Europe conference in Brussels 2026. He also holds a degree in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Oxford and is a fervent advocate of free speech, national sovereignty and ordinary people rediscovering their patriotic voice.
