Krisztián Fenyves

Krisztián Fenyves holds a Master’s degree (Baccalaureate), a Licentiate, and a Doctorate (PhD) in Sacred Theology from the Faculty of Theology at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, as well as a Master’s degree (in Piano) from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. He also earned a Licentiate in Judaic Studies and Jewish–Christian Relations from the Cardinal Bea Centre of the Pontifical Gregorian University. He pursued further studies at Ankara University (Turkey) and at the University of Vienna (Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion). He is a member of the Young Curatorium of the European Society for Catholic Theology (ESCT), a public body member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Section of Philosophy and Historical Sciences), and belongs to several international scholarly associations, including the International Association for Patristic Studies, the European Association of Biblical Studies, the European Academy of Religion, and the North American Patristics Society. He defended his dissertation (Reflections on Ancient Interpretations of the Fall and the Suffering Messiah: The Question of Exegetical Interactions in Light of Genesis 3 and Isaiah 53) in the field of patrology (early Christian literature and history). His research focuses on exegetical interactions between the Church Fathers and the Rabbis, as well as on interreligious dialogue and religious diplomacy.
