László Horváth

Government Commissioner for Combating Drug Trafficking

László Horváth holds degrees in history and adult education. His political career began in 1990, when he became a member of Hungary’s first freely elected Parliament. Over the course of four parliamentary terms, he represented Heves County’s No. 2 constituency, Pétervására, as well as the broader county in the National Assembly. In February 2025, he was appointed by the Hungarian government as Government Commissioner responsible for combating drug trafficking.
