Stephen Sholl

Head of International Partnerships at MCC

Stephen Sholl is the Head of International Partnerships within the International Directorate at Mathias Corvinus Collegium. He previously served as Head of International Communications, where he played a key role in strengthening MCC’s English-language and international presence. Earlier, he worked as a researcher at MCC’s Architecture and Memorial Workshop.

Stephen first joined MCC as a participant in the Budapest Fellowship Program (2020–2021), during which he worked at the Committee of National Remembrance. He later continued his engagement through MCC’s Visiting Fellowship Program (2021–2022). Across these roles, his research explored a wide range of topics, including Hungarian communism, U.S.–Hungarian relations, and the intersection of architecture, politics, and culture.

He holds an MA in International Conflict and Security from the University of Kent, an MA in Public and International Affairs from Virginia Tech, and a BA in History from Freed-Hardeman University.
